ABOUT ME

. My name is Kennedy Shioya and I am the owner of Kumé Designs! I started Kumé Designs in 2022 after feeling unfulfilled with the painting degree I got from BSU a few years prior. I had always been creative and grew up  sewing but I knew I wanted to get into something more unique. I found leather working and started with a small kit and then taught myself how to make totes, wallets, crossbody bags, etc. I strive to create modern/ contemporary bags while using a timeless craft like leather working!
